Everyday I pass by a Toll Plaza to and from work. And everyday, I this happen over and over again. Drivers who are paying the toll fee, would open their doors instead of rolling down their windows.
I assumed that drivers find opening their doors and over-stretching their arms easier than rolling down their windows and simply giving the money to the booth collector. I don't think so. Perhaps for the car drivers who's windows are rolled down manually, perhaps yes, but I still see a lot of drivers who's got power windows and still do the same.
Maybe, they just had their windows tinted and afraid to get scratches on the new machine. But didn't they realize that it will wear out more the door hinges and latches? Oh and the effort to unlock the doors, and opening it is much more than simply pushing a button?
